Creativity in the real world

This is to see if 5 people actually read this blog. I am doing a contest thingy I saw on V's blog.
Here's how it works. The first 5 (unique) people to comment on this post will get something homemade from me.

However this offer has some rules and limitations so please read carefully.

1. This will be an item homemade by me especially for you (or your child) however it is a surprise. It might be something sewn, baked or any other kind of craft. I cannot give you a hint or guarantee that you will like it. (And the you liking it goes double for me you all know the stuff I come up with when i ambeign "creative")

2. You will receive your item some time this year.

3. I must be able to contact you via email. So make sure I can find your email address, if you're not sure, just put in your comment.

4. You must respond back to me with your mailing address after I send you an email confirming that you are one of the lucky 5!

5. In return you must post this giveaway on your blog and make 5 things for first 5 people to comment. (If you have recently done this giveaway on your blog I will count it!) This step is the most important! I will check your blog for YOUR giveaway before I send you an email. This one doesn't necessarily count for children posting on this blog viz their mom or dad's account.

Lucky 5:

1. Helen =P
2. V
3. Annie
4. El Cid
5.

Want some real words?

Ok so I know this blog is about making up definitions for words that sound funny that I find on word verification and some other ramblings but I found a site that has real words to learn Vocaboly.com. Which is a lot more useful than my made up ones! So if you want to learn learn words or test your vocab skills go to I took the SAT easy vocab test and I only missed one. They also have vocab quizzes from other college type tests and vocabulary builder you can download. So if you use Vocaboly.com. in connection with my blog you will be able to correctly use protuberant and asbusne and sound really smart. Well at least until people figure out asbusne is made up. And did I mention it's FREE!

Slightly off topic but creative

I want to create some lotto scratch cards for an experiment. These are all $1 cards. Have a card where like the normal ones where it a game and you are in suspense to see if your hand beats the imaginary people on the card but the top prize is $1000. Then there will be a card with a complex-ish math or vocabulary questions and if you scratch off the right answer you are guaranteed a prize of at least 25 cents and it goes up to $2500. And the last one is a very plain looking card with just a box in the middle with a question mark on it to scratch off and it is like a bottle cap saying you winand an amount or play again and it's prize would go up to $5000. I really think that the lower prize but more "exciting" game would sell best....

3 words today

So I went to all 3 of my sister's sites and got flegr altist and tershe. So I googled them all to see what I would get Flegr is a last name - Jaroslav Flegr is a Czech scientist who has investigated the behavior-altering properties of Toxoplasma in humans. Altist is the Alabama Local Tax Institute Standars and Training and apparently a model of Corrola. Tershe I got a variety of sites about waTERSHEds. So tershe wins.

Tershe - pronounced ter- shh (like the end of porsche the way I say it). The odd ripple effect up the arm caused by quick flip of the wrists to make a character/piece on a video game move by a person trying hard to break the habit of "jumping" their controller since although that technology now exists they sadly do not own it. Even though Karen is able to somewhat control her urge to move the controller to move her pieces on Tetris her mean children laugh at her tershing.

RESTED? Seriously Zanne????

Ok so I decided to go to Zanne's blog for a word and all I got was rested.... So I went back to V's and got Monsusn- pronounced mon-susan. The female version of a Monsignor in the very liberal Platio sect of the Catholic church. The Pope does not acknowledge the Platio Monsusn's as the Catholic church does not have female priests. (I gave Zanne's blog a second chance that is where Platio is from)

An explanation

Ok so my mom LOVES word verification the words completely amuse her so I decided to make a blog for it. Anyone who wants to be able to post on this also let me know. You can't pick and choose you must got to V's blog or a blog of your choosing that has word verification to post a comment click on comment on the top post and (comment if you want) write down the word then come back here to write a definition for it. How will I know if you used the first word? Well I won't but it's bad for your karma... Or for the easier version when you come across a word you love you can post about that.

Liista

Liista- pronounced lee-stuh A person who makes fabulous lists. Like a fashionista but for lists. The liista was excited when she landed a job making the top ten list for a popular late night show.
